Run Coaching for All Distances
Run training should build you up, not break you down. Power2Tri provides individualized run coaching for athletes training for 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, marathons, and ultra distances on both road and trail. Our approach prioritizes durability, consistency, and long-term progression over chasing short-term fitness gains that lead to burnout or injury.
Whether you're preparing for your first 5K, working toward a marathon PR, stepping up to ultra distances, or looking to train smarter as a masters athlete, our coaching adapts to your goals, your schedule, and your body's need for intelligent load management and recovery.
What Makes Run Coaching Different
Running isn't just about logging miles. It's about building the aerobic base, muscular endurance, and mental resilience required to sustain effort over long distances while managing fatigue, avoiding injury, and progressing year after year.
We build training around your current fitness, your goals, and your constraints. That means workouts that adapt when life gets busy, volume that increases intelligently rather than recklessly, and recovery strategies that account for age, injury history, and training load. You don't need more miles. You need the right miles at the right time.
This is human coaching, not a mileage template. You work with an experienced coach who understands endurance running, knows how to build durability without overtraining, and makes decisions based on your feedback, your data, and your goals, not a one-size plan pulled from a spreadsheet.
Who This Is For
Our run coaching works for athletes across all experience levels and race distances:
- Athletes preparing for 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, marathons, or ultra distances
- Trail and road runners looking for structure, progression, and accountability
- Masters athletes who care about durability, injury prevention, and training smarter
- Athletes balancing running with careers, families, and other commitments
If you're looking for individualized coaching that adapts to your life rather than a plan that expects your life to adapt to it, this approach will work for you.
How We Approach Run Training
Training begins with understanding where you are now: your current mileage, injury history, race goals, schedule, and constraints. From there, we build a plan that balances volume, intensity, and recovery so you're progressing without overreaching.
Workouts are structured around your available time and adjusted based on how you're responding. If work gets busy or life throws a curveball, training adapts. If you're crushing workouts and recovering well, we progress. If fatigue is building or performance is slipping, we adjust before it becomes a problem.
You get ongoing feedback on pacing strategy, effort management, fueling, race execution, and long-term planning. Communication is continuous, not episodic. Training is a relationship, not a transaction.
